Disney-Club Contest::The Mountains Throne
My submission to ~Disney-club's contest "New Disney Movie" in the contest we were required to make a promo poster for Disneys "fantasy" up-coming movie. It could only be original, a sequal or based off disney TV shows. So I did original. EditThe Story This is a story of a Mayan civilization ruled by princess Kan Seya Kish, name meaning [Snake Born of Blood] which is fitting since she was born during a battle, her mother was killed saving her. A venomous snake found her, intending to kill her it bit her only to release her quickly because of the protection of the Gods. The snake, under the control of an unknown God wrapped itself around her and protected her in the hiding of the bushes. When her people found her, they dubbed her with that name and returned her to her father. And eventually she became princess. Because the snake had bitten her, Kan became immune to poisons. When the Spanish Conquistadors come to search the new world for Gold, her people capture a full force of them, but allow them to be free and roam the city. Unfortunatly, like a parasite, they begin starting to take control of the city sucking life away from the inside. Kan is forced to call upon neighboring tribes to help her fight them off, but the battle has much loss because of the weapons of the Spanish. Kan turns to the Gods to beg them for their mercy and soon learns from their words that, although her strength and the loyalty of her people would be enough to destroy the Spanish, more will come, and eventually her civilization will fall. If she wishes her people to live forever, she will have to sacrifice herself to suffice the Gods and protect her people, but it may leave her people leaderless. Kan must choose to either fight for her people and become a hero forever, but live to know that one day, these white men will return and destroy them. Or she must die for her people, in honor and let them fight alone and have peace forever. End Edit The story behind this all started at girls camp a year ago, we had a Disney Princess theme so my friend and I created our own [slightly warped] Disney princesses. When I saw this contest, I decided this would be a great way to introduce her, I hope to do more based on what this poster portrays. Now this is just fictional, Disney really isn't going to make a movie of this, I wrote like completely random crap at the bottom just so it looked movie like, I even chose two random actors from previous disney movies. I had a ton of fun doing this, it's probably my favorite thing I have done in awhile. Enjoy! Free little doodle for whoever can guess what race of princess she is. I think the last Disney channel cartoon i liked was American Dragon jake long, and then they went and changed it so the dragons looked all twekk, and it got ended way to early.
